Eternal Fate

begin reading

take a breath · read slowly

There are words, beneath the words,
Express their meaning without a hint,
There are lives, beneath the lives,
Express their meaning with a death,
For once, the sight is too far away,
All that is left on the shore are,
Lifeless marks of the oldest feet,
What is it there to expect, except,
The wings are no longer able,
The breath can no longer hold,
The body is no longer my own,

You told me about the painless life,
Where is the dream, where is the glory?
Where is the lifeless life I sought so hard?
I can feel the coldness of the ocean,
I am stuck between the realm of
Sea and the shore, I was meant to see,
The rush of love between those two,
The eternal love of ever-repeating game,
What is a life that I see, beyond none?
I was made to see what there all it could,
Floating in the realm of my own,
Where the lifeless lives meet,
The gateless gates of eternal fate.
