Eternal stars lived in the sky
She lived beneath the starry sky
Looked upon every single day and night
Dreamt of those far-fetched worlds
If there were any, her dreams might have caught
For her dreams were without limits of thoughts
She lived with the masters’ arts
Soothing and warming as they were
She dreamt of those meadows and poppies
But her dream went beyond that of masters
None could have caught it with strokes and colors
Nor anyone with the words and wits
Resting under the Roslyn stone
Surrounded by the chalice and spears
A thousand years part of life and death
Awaiting still for a restful sleep
Away from the cunning men who hunt
Guarded by the knights of her own, after all
So dark the con of man
